Our 14-day return promise
You may tell us that you want to return your purchase within 14 days after receiving it, without giving a reason. We offer this promise to customers in the EU, USA and Canada, in addition to any mandatory rights that apply where you live. Your notice does not require our approval to be valid.
How to notify us
Email info@storboden.se with your name, order number and the items you wish to return, or send a clear cancellation statement to Storboden AB, Jättestensgatan 3 B, 418 72 Göteborg, Sweden. Please ask for parcel-return instructions so your return reaches the correct location. Do not send a parcel to the production facility shown on its packaging without instructions.
You can use this wording, but do not have to: “I hereby withdraw from my purchase of [items], ordered on [date] and received on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Order number: [number]. Date: [date].” Add your signature only if sending a paper notice.
Returning the goods
Send the items back within 14 days after notifying us. Pack them securely. For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct return postage unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires us to pay it. You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. Where the law allows it, a refund may be reduced for a loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to examine the goods.
Refunds
For cancellation of the whole order, we refund the item price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery. Extra costs for a more expensive delivery method you selected are not refunded unless required by law. Refunds use the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee.
For EU withdrawals we refund within 14 days of your notice, but may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first. Mandatory local deadlines take precedence elsewhere.
Rights by region
EU, including Germany and the Netherlands: consumers buying online normally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Printing a standard catalogue design after it is ordered does not, by itself, make it personalised. Where a statutory exception applies to genuinely personalised goods, our stated return promise still applies.
USA: our return promise applies alongside applicable state and federal protections. The FTC's Cooling-Off Rule does not generally cover purchases made entirely online.
Canada: our return promise applies alongside provincial and territorial protections. Additional cancellation rights may arise, for example, from missing contract information or delayed delivery. This policy does not limit those rights or applicable legal warranties.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect items
Contact info@storboden.se and describe the problem. Photographs may help us resolve it. The 14-day change-of-mind period does not limit your statutory rights for defective or misdescribed goods. We cover necessary return costs where the goods are faulty or we sent the wrong item, and provide the remedy required by applicable law.
